Private playground activities for small children

Espoo's public playgrounds are intended for resident use, but they can also offer private playground activities for small children. Private service providers choose the participants, and the activities are subject to a fee. The service providers are responsible for the quality, schedules and marketing of the activities. The Act on Early Childhood Education and Care does not apply to private playground activities for small children. Before starting operations, the service provider must contact Espoo's Finnish Early Childhood Education Unit to discuss which playground it plans to use.
