APPLICATION PERIOD HAS ENDED!

Enrolling in the 7th grade and applying for weighted-curriculum education takes place through the electronic Wilma (extrernal link)service between January 10th and 18th 2022 by filling in the form 'Application for 7th grade of Comprehensive School'. If You are unable to use the Wilma service, You can fill in the paper form. The paper form must be submitted to Your child's current school in Espoo by 18 January 2022 at the latest.

• The basic section of the entrance examination will be held on 19 January, 2022 at Leppävaara sport hall (boys at 8am-12pm, girls at 12:30pm-4:30 pm). All applicants must have indoor sports equipments, indoor sports shoes and a drinking bottle with them. If an applicant has fallen ill and is unable to participate in the entrance examination, guardian must contact Leppävaara school before the examination starts and present a statement on the illness. The principal has the authority whether of not a new entrance examination is held.

Applicants are admitted based on an entrance examination. The entrance examination consists of two sections:

1. A basic section
2. A sport section

In order to be admitted to weighted-curriculum education in sports and physical activity (URHEA), an applicant must achieve the minimum total score of the entrance examination. Applicants are admitted in the order of their total score in the entrance examination. If two or more applicants have the same total score, their order will be determined by drawing lots.

Applicants living in Espoo are a priority. If there are places available after all qualified applicants who are Espoo residents are admitted, applicants from other municipalities can be admitted in the order of their total score in the entrance examination.
