HUS is in the process of introducing a new client and patient information system, known as Apotti, and a new appointment booking system for clients, known as Maisa. The new information systems will be introduced at the HUS Department of Gynaecology and Obstetrics on 1 February 2020.

Ultrasound screening appointments are currently booked through Terveyskylä’s Omapolku service, but starting from February, they need to be booked through Maisa.

Prenatal screening appointments can be securely booked at  www.maisa.fi. Log in using your online banking codes or electronic ID card. The service is also available through a mobile application. Download the app on Google Play or the App Store.

All individuals who live in the Helsinki and Uusimaa Hospital District and are over 13 years old may log in to Maisa. Through Maisa, you can also log in to Terveyskylä’s Raskauspolku service that provides information for pregnant women.

Maisa can be used in Finnish, Swedish and English.

You will need to log in to Maisa before your first maternity clinic appointment. When you call the clinic to book your first appointment, the clinic staff will tell you more. If you wish not to use Maisa, the prenatal screening unit will book appointments for you and inform you of the dates and times by sending you letters to your home address. You can check your appointments and cancel them, if necessary, through Maisa.
