  1. The Social and Crisis Emergency Services serves clients round-the-clock.
  2. You will be able to contact the child welfare services in your own area within the same or the following working day.
  3. A child welfare notification is handled within 7 working days.
  4. We investigate the need for child welfare services without delay and within a maximum of three months in order to assess the need for child welfare.
  5. If the child is in need of child welfare support, we prepare a client plan with the child and the family. The plan is revised together at least once a year.
  6. We find a substitute care place for every child that needs placement according to his/her needs. We always first examine the possibility to place the child within his/her network of close relatives or in a foster family.
  7. We work in cooperation with the parents of the children who are our clients. We facilitate communication between a child who is placed outside the home and his/her guardians and other people important to him/her.
  8. Adolescents who are clients in our after-care unit are provided support that corresponds to their needs. We help with issues related to, for instance, housing, livelihood, studying and employment.
  9. We request our clients to actively provide feedback so that we can develop our activities.
