As of 23 November 2020, students can attend health check-ups and other appointments with a public health nurse through a video link.
Most appointments with public health nurses can be carried out remotely. Sometimes you may also need to have a face-to-face appointment for examinations or procedures. In this case, your appointment is usually shorter as the nurse has already gone through your background information and assessed your need for treatment during the video appointment.
To attend a video appointment, you need a device that includes a camera and a microphone. Also, make sure that you have a quiet space where you can discuss your personal matters.
Book your appointment in advance
Our VideoVisit appointments require strong identification (online banking codes, mobile ID). Book a video appointment online: Appointments online for the Health Services > Student health care booking.
If strong identification is not possible for you, you can ask the nurse to send you an email with a link through which you can join your video appointment. If you wish to attend a scheduled appointment remotely, please contact the nurse well in advance.
The best browser for video appointments is Google Chrome. If you are using Internet Explorer or a mobile device (tablet computer, smartphone), please download the free VideoVisit Meet application at info.videovisit.mobi.
