Health services for school children
School children and their parents can contact the nurse to discuss any matters relevant to their health and wellbeing. School nurses are happy to talk to you about a variety of topics including nutrition, free time, sleep and puberty.
If your child falls ill during the school day, the nurses are on hand to provide assistance. They also offer support to children with chronic medical conditions, disabilities and other special educational needs.
Health services for students
The City of Espoo offers health services to all students, who are enrolled at an Espoo region upper secondary school, vocational college or university of applied sciences for at least two months continuously.
The health service maintains and promotes the students’ physical, mental and social well-being and offers them support with their studies and professional training. The service is designed to foster the students’ life management skills and highlight the positive impact a healthy lifestyle can have. The service’s focus is on preventative healthcare.
If you have any questions about health or your studies, please don’t hesitate to contact us. The services we provide are based on mutual trust. All information shared with our nurses is treated in the strictest confidence.
