To our outpatient clinics patients come with a doctor’s referral.
Geriatric assessment and consultation
We assess the patient’s functional capacity and make a rehabilitation plan with the patient. The evaluation involves the necessary hospital staff. We also give advice to other health professionals. Patients come to the clinic with a doctor’s referral.
We investigate people over 75 who may suffer from a memory-related disease. Patients come to the clinic with a doctor’s referral. We wish that someone who knows the patient well takes part in the interview at the clinic. The patient visits the clinic 1 to 3 times. Thereafter, the patient's ordinary physician and a so called memory counsellor take over. Memory disorders in people under 75 years are examined in specialized medical care.
We treat patients admitted to palliative care and terminal care. In palliative care, or symptomatic care, symptoms are alleviated in patients with an incurable and progressive disease, and patients and their relatives are supported. Terminal care is the last stage of palliative care. Patients come to the clinic with a doctor’s referral.
We offer nurse’s and doctor’s practices and make assessments of the patient at home or at the outpatient clinic We also give advice to other health professionals.
We take care of, for example, intravenous medication. Patients come to the clinic with a doctor’s referral.
