Patients are served breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea/coffee, dinner and evening snack. The wards and other units have separate areas where all meals are served. Only on special grounds do patients eat in their room.
There is a cafeteria Suolaheinä, located on the first floor, tha everyone can use.
The menus are designed according to the recommendations for food in hospitals. In addition to the basic menu, we also have menus for various special needs.
Nutrient food plays an essential role in care and rehabilitation. A good diet promotes the patient’s health, functional capacity and quality of life. A good diet prevent diseases, promotes healing and reduces new diseases. Common meals have an important social function.
