Update at 15:15: The leak has been repaired, and vaccinations booked for Saturday 5 June can be organised as planned. Thank you all for your flexibility and patience today. This is the last update on this news article.
Update at 12:30
- We have located the source of the leakage, and it is being repaired. We now have 13 out of the 25 vaccination stations in use.
- We will have to move the appointments of some 70 people booked for today between 13:00 and 16:00 from Metro Areena to the Tapiola Health Centre (address: Ahertajantie 2). All these people will be informed of the change via text message.
- In addition, we will have to cancel 360 appointments booked for the afternoon between 13:00 and 16:00. All these people will be informed of the cancellation via text message.
We apologise for the changes and cancellations. If your appointment is cancelled, please book a new appointment at bookcovidvaccine.fi.
Update at 10:45: At 11:00, we will open at least six additional vaccination stations. Then we will be able to use eleven out of the 25 stations.
Update at 10:00: We have not been able to locate the source of the water leakage. All vaccinations between 9:30 and 12:00 have been cancelled. At this moment, vaccinations can be given at five stations out of the 25 stations normally in use.
We will not be able to give vaccinations at Metro Areena between 09:30 and 12:00 on Friday due to water damage.
Unfortunately, we have to cancel the vaccination appointments booked for that time period.
We ask our customers to book a new appointment for next week online at bookcovidvaccine.fi.
We apologise for the inconvenience!
We aim to repair the water damage and resume normal operations as soon as possible.
We will provide more information as soon as we get it.
