The Action for Accessibility competition is looking for inspiring examples of accessibility. Organised for the sixth time this year, the competition is open to all! The aim of the competition is to highlight the importance of equality and participation in a positive way.
Which service, company, organisation or, for example, architectural solution has improved accessibility in everyday life? What has made it easier to use services or move around?
The nominated deed can be small or large – the important criterion is that it has increased accessibility.

A panel of judges selected by the Disability Council will select the Action for Accessibility from among the nominations. The Action for Accessibility 2019 will be announced and honoured on the International Day of Persons with Disabilities on 3 December 2019.
Last year, the Action for Accessibility competition was won by Kaikukortti, with an honourable mention to Westendinpuiston koulu primary school.
