Green Berry Oy has won the Pääkaupunkiseudun Kasvupolku competition, the metropolitan area’s regional growth programme that is part of Kasvu Open. The company was selected as the winner from among 15 companies and will proceed to the national finals to be held in October.
An Espoo-based company specialised in non-toxic cleaning, Green Berry Oy offers its licensed self-developed cleaning method to cities, municipalities, hotel chains and larger cleaning companies. The chemical-free Buhdas cleaning method is based on purified water whose effect is increased by the addition of probiotics that break down impurities with the help of enzymes.
Green Berry Oy’s mission is to improve the safety and quality of everyone’s lives by enabling chemical-free cleaning and creating a digital platform for cleaning work training and management. The company aims to become the world’s leading brand in chemical-free cleaning.
Kasvu Open is an annual sparring programme for small and medium-sized growth companies. Companies involved in the programme receive free-of-charge sparring from business world experts for implementing their growth plan and developing their operations. The sparring begins with regional or sector-specific Kasvupolku growth paths, from which the 100 most promising growth companies are selected for the next stage. Kasvu Open will culminate in the national finals, Kasvu Open Carnival, to be held in Jyväskylä 23–24 October 2019.
