The planning of the 161 metres tall office and hotel tower in Keilaniemenranta will reached another milestone in October 2018 when the City Planning Board discussed the changing of Keilaniemenranta’s town plan. The plan change also involves the construction of housing, services and business premises next to the tower.

The main tenant of the tower’s office section would be KONE Corporation. The bottom floors of the tower would hold conference rooms, restaurants and cafés opening towards Rantaraitti beach boulevard. The tower will be completed in 2022.
Behind the tower project is Regenero Oy, and its Member of the Board of Directors Kari Helin is very pleased about the town plan change.
“The town plan change allows our plans to proceed. We want to help develop Keilaniemi into an impressive, multi-faceted and dynamic seaside district that combines working, living and high-quality services.”
Regenero will modernise Fortum’s former head office tower into modern office facilities with Accountor as the main tenant. A scenic restaurant is being planned for the top floor. The tower’s renovation is already under way and will be completed in 2020.
Attractive beach promenade
Rantaraitti, Espoo’s Waterfront Walkway, passes near the new office and hotel tower. It will be developed into a green, harmonious and wheelchair-accessible seaside beach promenade. The beach area adjacent to the hotel will be turned into a square. All parking in Keilaniemenranta will be underground.
The area around the Keilaniemi metro station and the future Jokeri Light Rail Line’s terminus will be built into an attractive pedestrian environment.
