The exhibition consists of 14 exhibition boards with numerous photographs displaying not only the currents in Espoo, but also the nature around currents in Southern Finland and the impact of human behaviour on it.
Espoo has a large number of different currents that are highly significant for biodiversity, the comfort of humans and floodwater control, among other purposes. Taking currents into consideration in the urban environment and its construction demands a fresh approach.
The texts of the exhibition are in Finnish.
Nature House Villa Elfvik is open from Mon.–Fri. 9 am – 4 pm and Sat.–Sun 10 am – 4 pm. Café Elfvik is open on weekends.
