Kivenlahti

Kivenlahti is a rapidly growing and developing district in Espoo.

Its public transport connections to other parts of Espoo and the entire capital region will become even better in 2023 when the extension of the metro line is completed. The Kivenlahti station will be the metro’s western terminus. You can follow the construction of the metro in Kivenlahti on the West Metro website.

Kivenlahti is currently home to some 8,000 people. The number of inhabitants in Kivenlahti is expected to grow to 25,000 by 2050.

Located by the sea, Kivenlahti offers many opportunities for recreation in a natural environment. Every summer, scheduled archipelago boats run from Kivenlahti to Espoo’s islands.
