Health centres’ appointment booking number is very busy

The centralised appointment booking number of Espoo’s health centres is getting a large number of calls at the moment. Due to the coronavirus epidemic, we had to cancel many appointments in the spring and many clients also chose to postpone their appointments.

During the summer, more people have called us to book appointments than before. In July, the appointment booking numbers of Espoo’s health centres have received 80% more calls than during the same period last year. Many of our employees are also currently on holiday. For this reason, our telephone services are very busy.

“We apologise for the inconvenience. We are doing everything we can to offer Espoo residents the health services they need. Anyone who needs urgent care will receive the services they need during the same day as usual,” says Eila Erola , Medical Director of Espoo’s health centres.

Non-urgent issues

If your issue is not urgent, please contact us later.

Please remember that you only need to call our appointment booking number once. Our system will save your number and we will call you back as soon as possible. At the moment, you may have to wait for our call longer than usual.
