Free tickets to the City of Espoo Independence Day Gala Concert will be handed out starting from Monday 4 November

The concert will feature the Tapiola Youth Symphony Orchestra conducted by Erkki Lasonpalo and the children’s choir CandoMini conducted by Viena Kangas, together with singers Ilkka Alanko and Krista Siegfrids, violinist Tami Pohjola and soprano Aurora Marthens. The concert will be hosted by Keijo Leppänen.

At the concert, the city will also award this year’s Espoo medals (established in 1972) in acknowledgement of outstanding efforts for the city. Now organised for the 20th time, the Independence Day Gala has become a shared tradition for everyone in Espoo.

Tickets are available from the lippu.fi online service around the clock for as long as there are tickets available. Lippu.fi will charge a delivery fee of EUR 1.00 per order. You can order a maximum of four tickets.

The event will begin at 14:30. It is also possible to watch the concert online at espoo.fi/liveevents. The recording will be available online until 5 January 2020.

The concert is produced by City Events Espoo which is part of the Event and Cultural Services of the City of Espoo.
Changes to the programme are possible.
