Entrypoint kuvitus

International students are the third-largest group of new-comers to Finland. However, every second immigrant holding a Bachelor‘s degree and every fifth immigrant holding a master’s degree or PhD is overqualified for a position. In order to tackle this situation, the EntryPoint programme was developed. EntryPoint is a cross-cultural mentoring partnership, aimed at improving the integration of highly-educated immigrants since 2016, organized by Helsinki Region Chamber of Commerce. EntryPoint has a proven track-record over the last 2,5 years in Helsinki Metropolitan area, with 226 participants from 45 different ethnical backgrounds. EntryPoint’s 113 mentors are from a widerange of professions including various business fields, academia and public sector like TEM, MinEdu, KONE, Nokia and Wärtsilä. EntryPoint is acknowledged as Good Practice International and highly appreciated by previous participants with high level of satisfaction.

Once you join the programme as a mentor, you will get to meet and network with international talents interested in startup scene. If you are thinking about to enhance your company’s talent attraction strategy, go beyond boundaries, get inspired and gain new insights, this mentoring program is for you.

If you are looking for an opportunity to get a foot in the door of professional life and expand professional networks in Finland, you can apply to become a mentee.
