On Tuesday, 12 March 2019, a new service – an Employment Corner – will open in the pop-up space at the Iso Omena Service Centre.

The Employment Corner provides face-to-face service, with no appointment required, to help people find employment or training. The service is targeted at adult job-seekers who are over 30 years old. The Employment Corner is open in the pop-up space on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 10 am–2 pm.

You can get help with job-seeking every day during opening hours. There are also regular special themes for each service day:

  • Job-seeking Tuesdays (for example, sparring for writing job application documents and for job-seeking online)
  • Training Wednesdays 12 noon–2 pm (training advice from representatives of educational institutes)
  • Employer Thursdays 12 noon–2 pm (opportunities to talk to representatives of recruitment companies and employers)

Follow the Service Centre’s Facebook page

You can find the detailed weekly programme in the weekly event summary of the Iso Omena Service Centre, which is published every Monday morning on the Service Centre’s Facebook page and on the big digital screen located next to the Service Centre’s information desk.
