Digipore project expedites employment of skilled software developers

6 Time: Digipore project is part of The Six City sustainable development strategy.

The project expedites and enhances the availability of skilled software developers into companies. Training provided by the Digipore project will update ICT- field professionals’ skill set to match the current recruitment needs of the companies across their technology stack(s). Participants attending the training program will construct a wider perspective and understanding of the expected skills and roles required by the industry.

The project’s target groups are highly educated immigrants, long- term unemployed people with previous background from the ICT industry and spouses of international talents.

You are eligible to apply for the training program, if you fulfill the following criteria:

  • you are unemployed

  • you have previous background from the ICT- industry

  • you are motivated, ready to learn and update your skills

Project is coordinated by the City of Turku and it is implemented in partnership with the City of Espoo, City of Helsinki, City of Oulu, City of Vantaa and City of Tampere.  

Duration: 1.9.2018- 31.12.2019

Budget: circa. 1,1 M euros
