Cultural benefits for new citizens

The cultural operators of Espoo offer various cultural benefits to residents of Espoo who have acquired Finnish citizenship in 2017.

The benefits are valid from September 2018 until the end of August 2019. The dates and duration of the benefits vary depending on the actor, but most of the benefits are valid in the autumn of 2018.

As a new citizen, you can visit museums, attend concerts and performances, book theatre tickets and visit music festivals – all free of charge. Also read more about the extensive services offered by the library. Several venues and shows are suitable for children.

Choose a venue or an event that you are interested in and check the benefits, timetables and specific instructions on the subpages:

You can redeem the benefit on a case-by-case basis by providing your code on location at the cultural venue, at a Lippupiste ticket office or by reserving your ticket in advance by e-mail. You can find the code in a postcard posted to your home address under your name.
