Cinema experiences and deep emotions
KannuKino screens a variety of wonderful films for cinema buffs of all ages in a unique underground theatre. In addition to seasonal hits, the diverse selection includes Art House films, documentaries and special film series. The experiences are complemented with topical lectures, visits by film-makers and changing supplementary events and activities.
Kannusali is currently closed for renovation. It will open again at the end of August on the Espoo Day weekend: on Friday, 28 August, Kannusali will hold an open day, and on Saturday, 29 August, it is time for KannuKino’s opening event.
The premises are not fully accessible. Kannusali and Nekka are located in a bomb shelter with a long and steep ramp, which is why we recommend that persons who use a wheelchair should have an assistant. The personnel will also assist if needed. You can reach us on 050 368 7931. The auditorium is equipped with an audio induction loop. Some Finnish films have subtitles for the hard of hearing. If the film has subtitles, this is mentioned in the event announcement.
