Kannusali and Nekka
At Kannusali, you can enjoy fantastic music clubs, KannuKino’s movies, family events and much more such as theatre and stand-up comedy. The multipurpose facilities are located in the Kannu civil defence shelter, a short walk from the Espoo railway station in Espoon keskus. The tiered seating has room for 221 spectators and, thanks to it being movable, there is room for a total of 300 people on the flat floor of the room.

Museums open with limitations – small outdoor events in June
At its meeting on Thursday 27 May 2021, the coronavirus coordination group for the Helsinki metropolitan area decided that libraries and museums can be opened with certain limitations as of 1 June 2021. The Exhibition Centre WeeGee will open to the public on 1 June, while Espoo’s other cultural venues will remain closed. Espoo’s Event and Cultural Services will organise small outdoor events during the summer. We will provide further information on these events in early June.

The premises are not fully accessible. Kannusali and Nekka are located in a bomb shelter with a long and steep ramp, which is why we recommend that persons who use a wheelchair should have an assistant. The personnel will also assist if needed. You can reach us on 050 368 7931. The auditorium is equipped with an audio induction loop. Some Finnish films have subtitles for the hard of hearing. If the film has subtitles, this is mentioned in the event announcement.
