At its meeting on 5 January 2021, the coronavirus coordination group for the Helsinki metropolitan area decided on new recommendations and restrictions to curb the spread of the epidemic in the region. In accordance with this decision, Espoo’s cultural venues (Exhibition Centre WeeGee, Sello Hall, Espoo Cultural Centre, Children’s Cultural Centre Aurora and Kannusali) will be closed until 31 January 2021. All public events have been cancelled until 31 January 2021. Basic education in the arts has been suspended. Libraries will provide limited services. The Tapiola Library, which is located within the Cultural Centre, can be accessed from the side of the Central Basin.

Cancelled events will be held at a later date, if possible. Each cultural venue will provide information on the cancelled and postponed events on their website, together with instructions on how to return pre-purchased tickets.

You can find the city’s coronavirus-related news and press releases at espoo.fi/coronavirus.

We wish you all strength during these exceptional times.

Best regards,
Sello Hall, Espoo Cultural Centre, Exhibition Centre WeeGee, Children’s Cultural Centre Aurora, Kannusali and City Events Espoo
