The Cultural Unit is responsible for the cultural offering and cultural profile of Espoo. The Cultural Unit comprises four service areas: the City Library, City Museum and City Orchestra Tapiola Sinfonietta as well as Event and Cultural Services. The units administration is responsible for the grants, strategy and assessment work, the Culture for Everyone services and communication at the unit level.

Espoo City Library
Espoo has 18 libraries, nine of which also serve as self-service libraries. Two mobile libraries, Helmi and Välkky, serve schools, day-care centres and areas with no local library.
Espoo City Museum
Espoo City Museum was established in 1958. Today, the Espoo City Museum family includes KAMU in the WeeGee Exhibition Centre, Glims Farmstead Museum, Villa Museum Villa Rulludd, Lagstad School Museum and Pentala Archipelago Museum, which was opened to the public in June 2018.
Event and Cultural Services
The service area includes Espoo Cultural Centre, Exhibition Centre WeeGee, Sello Hall, Karatalo, Kannusali, Aurora as well as regional cultural work and events.
Established in 1987, Tapiola Sinfonietta, the Espoo City Orchestra, is a high-quality chamber orchestra whose guest performers include leading Finnish and foreign conductors and soloists.
