National coronavirus vaccination certificates are available through My Kanta Pages. A certificate of your most recent negative coronavirus test result is available at mycoviddata.fi. The European coronavirus certificate (EU Digital Covid Certificate) will be launched in July and will include a vaccination certificate, a test result certificate and a certificate of recovery from the coronavirus disease.
Coronavirus certificates currently available:
National coronavirus vaccination certificate – only available through My Kanta Pages
This certificate shows that a person has been vaccinated against the coronavirus (COVID-19). You can print your certificate or show it on your mobile device. The certificate contains information in Finnish, Swedish and English. The certificate only contains information on the vaccines you have received. It does not, for example, state whether you have had the coronavirus disease or received a negative coronavirus test result.

Isolation decision for a person placed in isolation due to coronavirus disease
A person who has contracted the coronavirus disease is placed in isolation. The Infectious Disease Unit sends an isolation decision by post to the home address of each person placed in isolation. An isolation decision is available in Finnish and Swedish. You will need this decision if you, for example, are going to apply for infectious disease allowance from Kela for the duration of absence from work.
Read more about the infectious disease allowance on the Kela website.
European coronavirus certificate to be launched in mid-July
The European coronavirus certificate (EU Digital Covid Certificate) will be launched in July. The EU-wide certificate will include a vaccination certificate, a test result certificate and a certificate of recovery from the coronavirus disease. All these three types of certificates will be launched at the same time, and they will be available through My Kanta Pages.
When the EU certificate is launched in July, it will be available through My Kanta Pages and as a printout.
Travel should still be avoided
The Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL) recommends that all domestic and foreign travel is restricted to necessary travel only.
However, if you have to travel and you need a certificate of a negative test result, you will need to get tested and get a certificate through a private service provider.
When returning to Finland, you will need to get tested upon arrival. Tests are carried out at border crossing points. People who wish to shorten their 14-day self-quarantine period can get tested again no earlier than 72 hours after arrival. This test can be booked online at koronabotti.hus.fi or by calling Espoo’s coronavirus helpline, tel. 09 816 34600 (Mon–Fri 7:00–18:00 and Sat–Sun 9:00–15:00)
