The Service Points in Espoo assist Kela with its customer service tasks as follows. Providing advice with Kela-related issues in accordance with the life situation described by a customer (e.g. basic advice on filling in a form, benefits, application periods on a general level). Receiving and forwarding an application/attachment or other document to Kela. Excluding employment pension applications and rehabilitation applications in the employment pension system. Providing a brochure and forms issued by Kela. Guiding customers to use Kela’s online services. Forwarding a request for an appointment by e-mail to Kela and through Kela’s appointment system which will be introduced later.
