The services of the City of Espoo’s service point in Kalajärvi will be extended to include Kela’s remote service from 8 February 2021. All of the City of Espoo’s service points already provide general advice on Kela matters, but the new remote service will deepen the level of advice.
The service point employee will continue to help in the use of Kela’s online services, for example, and receive applications and enclosures. However, if it looks like the client could benefit from the advice of a Kela expert, the employee will propose the remote service and help to establish a video connection.
This way, clients can manage their affairs as far as possible during one visit. Thanks to the video connection, you can also go through paper documents almost as well as face-to-face.
You cannot book an appointment for Kela’s remote service in advance. The service is available

- Fri at 9:00–13:00
- in Swedish:
- Mon–Tue at 9:30–11:00
- Thu at 9:30–11:00

When you come to the City of Espoo Service Point to take care of Kela matters, please bring your ID and the relevant documents and information.
