The City of Espoo and its partners will organise three public events to address everyday safety and security. The events will take place in different parts of Espoo during 2020.
At these events, we will take a look at the many components of safety. Everyone can have an impact on their own safety and the safety of the people around them. When everyone takes care of certain basic things, society will also become safer.
The event will start with short presentations from several experts. These will be followed by a panel discussion moderated by host Unna Lehtipuu. The panellists:
Petri Häkkinen, Chief Security Officer, City of Espoo
Jarno Limnéll, Professor of Practice, Cyber Security, Aalto University
Hannu Väänänen, Chief Inspector, Western Uusimaa Police Department
Outi Salo, Planning Officer, Länsi-Uusimaa Rescue Department
There will also be time for questions and comments from the audience during and after the panel discussion.
The events will be held in Finnish. You can also ask questions in Swedish or English.
The event at the Kalajärvi Service Centre on 29 August is organised only online. The event will be broadcast live online and recorded. The video will be published later on the City of Espoo YouTube channel.
