Distribution of free tickets for Independence Day Gala Concert begins on 4 November
The City of Espoo’s traditional Independence Day Gala Concert will be held on 6 December 2019 at 14:30 at the Espoo Metro Areena.
The concert will feature the Tapiola Youth Symphony Orchestra conducted by Erkki Lasonpalo, CandoMini choir conducted by Viena Kangas and singers Ilkka Alanko and Krista Siegfrids, violinist Tami Pohjola and soprano Aurora Marthens.
Tickets for the concert will be available as of Monday, 4 November. Be quick – the gala concert is very popular and the tickets will run out. Unlike in previous years, free tickets will be available online at lippu.fi. Please note that Lippupiste will charge a delivery fee of EUR 1.00 per order. You can order a maximum of four tickets.
There will also be a limited number of tickets available at various locations. You can pick up your tickets at the following locations:
- Entresse Library, Siltakatu 11
- Iso Omena Library, Service Centre, 3rd floor
- Kalajärvi Library, Ruskatalo, Ruskaniitty 4
- Sello Library, Leppävaarankatu 9
- Tapiola Library, Cultural Centre, Kulttuuriaukio 2
Mon–Wed 4–6 November and Mon–Wed 11–13 November 14:00–18.00. Tickets will also be available at the information desk of the Exhibition Centre WeeGee.

The concert will also be streamed live online. If you are unable to attend the concert, you can still watch it online and enjoy the music and the festive atmosphere. The recording will be available online until 23:00 on 5 January 2020.
