Updated 25.2.2021.

Upper secondary school students will continue studying from home after the winter holiday, as of 1 March 2021. Distance learning will continue until 28 March 2021.

The purpose of this extension is to prevent the spread of the epidemic and the new coronavirus mutation and to protect the social and health services from becoming overburdened.

We will provide information on teaching arrangements and the distribution of packed lunches later through Wilma.

Distribution of packed lunches generally
Packed lunches are mainly available to Espoo’s upper secondary school students studying from home. Follow the communications of your upper secondary school to get information on the delivery of packed lunches.

Lunch options:

  • mixed diet (lactose free, may contain pork)
  • vegetarian (lactose free, does not contain meat)
  • mixed diet, gluten free (lactose free)
  • Special diets will be offered at school. Ask more from your upper secondary school.

The use of masks is recommended for all general upper secondary school students

The use of masks is recommended for all general upper secondary school students also in their spare time, unless they are unable to wear a mask for health reasons. Students who cannot afford to buy masks can get free masks at the distribution locations of Social and Health Services
