Disturbances in Kajon’s passenger transports on Thursday 14 March

Update at 15:39: Kajon reports that the problem has been fixed. Taxi rides may be behind schedule for the rest of the day. In that case, please follow the instructions we gave in our press release earlier today.

The City of Espoo’s passenger transport services outsourced to Kajon Oy are facing severe difficulties today, Thursday 14 March 2019. They are caused by a service outage that Kajon’s network operator is experiencing.

The majority of school and early childhood education rides, rides for persons with disabilities and elderly people are at risk of being cancelled. Some children have not apparently received a ride to school this morning.

The duration of the problem is currently unknown.

The City of Espoo asks guardians and family members to make their own transport arrangements on Thursday, if possible.

Schools that use taxi cards may use these to pay for their pupils’ rides home. If Kajon cannot provide a ride, a taxi may be ordered from Lähitaksi.

Kajon will reimburse the costs afterwards. If you wish to have your taxi rides reimbursed, please send the receipts, the client’s information and a bank account number to the City of Espoo using the following address:
