A free map service helps you to choose the best place to live or place your business

HSL’s new web application (http://mak.hsl.fi/) helps you to find the ideal location for home or business in terms of transport connections. The travel time map shows the accessibility of a given place by public transport, cycling or walking. The trial version of the service is available in Finnish only.

Winter timetable booklets available in August 2012

Helsinki Region Transport (HSL) will switch to winter timetables 13 of August 2012. The winter timetable booklets will be available the first week in August. HSL’s winter timetable booklets are delivered to households in Espoo during the week beginning Monday 30 of July 2012.

Travel Cards can be loaded also at supermarkets and grocery stores

HSL's Travel Card can be loaded at an increasing number supermarkets and grocery stores in the Helsinki region. You can load season tickets or value at K-Citymarkets, Prisma stores and at most of the smaller stores of Ruokakesko, Varoboden and HOK-Elanto such as K-markets and Alepas. Tickets can be loaded also at several stores of Lähikauppa.

Feedback service is renewed

Customer feedback is essential when developing city services and operating methods. In the year 2011, the city received 3 500 customer feedback messages through the joint feedback system. Most of the messages had to do with street and road maintenance, health services and sports and exercise services.
