Committees
Committees are responsible for organising and developing resident- and customer-oriented services so that they promote sustainable development and the well-being of inhabitants. Some committees also have subcommittees.
Boards
Public utilities have boards. The public utilities are Espoo Public Works, Espoo Premises Services, Espoo Logistics, Premises Department, Länsi-Uusimaa Department for Rescue Services and Espoo Catering.
Advisory Boards and Councils
Advisory boards and councils are cooperative bodies of the city, elected officials and non-governmental organisations. They evaluate various operational methods, prepare proposals and initiatives as well as provide statements concerning issues in their field when necessary.
